«Los locos de Villasimplona» is a children's and young adult book by Otfried Preussler, published by SM in 1994 in library binding.
The chronicler Jeremías Punto collects the nonsensical stories of Villasimplona, whose inhabitants, the simpletons, display a very peculiar intelligence. Among their best-known antics is burning down their own city to get rid of a fearsome ratter dog, an absurd plan that reflects their particular way of understanding the world.
The work is part of the El Submarino Naranja collection by SM.
For children and young adult readers who enjoy humour and absurd situations.
Otfried Preußler was a German children's book author.
