In 'The Ignorant', Étienne Davodeau, a comic book author with little knowledge about the world of wine, and Richard Leroy, a winegrower who has barely read comics, embark on a journey of mutual discovery. For a year, Étienne works in Richard's vineyards, while Richard immerses himself in the world of comics. Through conversations, readings, and shared experiences, they explore the similarities between creating a book and producing wine, discovering that both have the power to connect people. This graphic novel recounts in an entertaining and insightful way this cross-initiation.
Étienne Davodeau is a French comic book artist and writer.
