«Los astronautas de Yavé» is J. J. Benítez's essay on the birth of Jesus, published by Planeta in paperback (293 pages, in Spanish).
The author investigates with journalistic method the mystery of the virgin conception of Mary and the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. Drawing on the apocryphal gospels and documents ignored by the Catholic Church, he gathers data and passages about the preparation of that birth and puts forward a thesis that questions the traditional account.
Work from Planeta's Documento collection, originally published in 1980. Includes bibliography, index, and drawings by F. Ghot.
Readers interested in religious mystery and heterodox interpretations of the origins of Christianity and the figure of Jesus.
