«L'Oreille absolue» is a collection of short stories by Daniele Del Giudice, published by Seuil in paperback (192 pages, in French).
The volume brings together six stories in which the characters' imagination ends up invading reality: a lost musical piece is the motive for a murder without a murderer, a text published on the Internet becomes experimentation with evil, and the passage of a comet turns observation into erotic love. Language and the body are the book's axes.
Published on 6 February 1998. It belongs to the collection «La Librairie du XXe siècle».
Daniele Del Giudice was an Italian author and lecturer. He lived in Venice, where he taught theatrical literature at the University Iuav of Venice.
