«L'ombra d'en Petit Guepard» is the children's book by Marianne Dubuc and María Teresa Rivas Guerrero (Tramuntana, hardback, 36 pages, in Catalan).
Petit Guepard discovers that his shadow is no longer there: tired of always following him, she has decided to leave. When he finally finds her, the two sit down to talk; perhaps the time has come to let her go ahead.
The original work was published in 2018; the Catalan edition by Tramuntana is from 2020.
For the little ones, it is a story about friendship and coexistence that invites reflection on feelings.
Marianne Dubuc is a Canadian writer and illustrator of children's books living in Quebec.
