«L'Ombra dels oblidats» is the children's and young adult novel by Coia Valls, in paperback (128 pages, in Catalan).
In the near future, a group of young people discover, thanks to Gustau Anguera and his dog, Ombra, that their technological environment ignores what is essential. Gathered in the old town of a decaying city, they set out to help their new friends and undertake a strange mission: to recover the trail of the forgotten, a persecuted group that rejects the disappearance of their way of seeing the world.
The novel belongs to the Sopa de Llibres collection (Sèrie Verda), with illustrations by Montse Español. It was published in 2011.
It is aimed at children and young readers aged 9 to 14 interested in near-future adventures with a social backdrop.
