«Leyendas de pasión» is a volume of three short novels by Jim Harrison, published by Grupo Zeta in paperback (286 pages, in Spanish).
The volume brings together three stories of love and revenge: Cochran risks everything for Mireya, Nordstrom weathers threats with humour, and Tristán, an outlaw, defends his freedom against his brother. The third, «Leyendas de Otoño», inspired the film starring Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins and Aidan Quinn.
The English original, «Legends of the Fall», dates from 1979; this Spanish edition was published in 1995 in the Tiempos Modernos collection.
For readers of classic and Western fiction, and for those who discovered the story through the film adaptation.
