«Les sept pères» is the children's picture book by Ashley Ramsden, published by Le Genévrier éditions in paperback (32 pages, in French).
On a snowy stormy night, an exhausted traveler asks an old man for shelter. The old man does not consider himself the owner of the house and tells him his father is in the kitchen. The stranger thus passes from one father to another, in a tale of Norwegian origin full of mystery and symbols, with illustrations by Ed Young.
The French adaptation is by Catherine Bonhomme. The book was published in October 2012.
Suitable for children aged 3 and up, with the tone of a traditional tale and a wintry atmosphere of mystery.
