«Les lettres du rêve» is the illustrated children's picture book by Raphaële Frier, illustrated by Kam, published by Le Port a jauni in paperback (16 pages).
The book starts from the Arabic root H.L.M., which groups words such as dream, appeasement, puberty, taste buds and nipple. Raphaële Frier seeks the link between the sensation of the child's body and the adult world; Kam draws with a surrealist graphic style, with motifs that respond to and transform each other.
Second title in the Racines collection, which explores the structure of Semitic languages. The cover includes the Arabic word «حلم».
For children aged 3 and up and for those looking for picture books that play with language and image.
