«Lecturas para estrenarse en psicología» is an introduction to psychology by Gema Peiró, Ana Canela, Ginés N. Gracia and others, in paperback from Diálogo.
Seven readings present the foundations of psychology from a scientific perspective: the mind as an evolutionary result, sensation, perception, intelligence, the physiological bases of behaviour, self-esteem and personality. A chapter on psychoanalysis is included, treated as non-scientific knowledge.
Third issue of the Tábano Collection, in its second edition, published in Valencia in 2007. Text in Spanish.
Intended for secondary school students and readers approaching psychology for the first time, with no prior knowledge required.
