«Le Sottisier des Journalistes 1996» is Philippe Mignaval's blunder book, published in paperback by Éditions Hors collection (162 pages, in French).
The book brings together several hundred genuine pearls from the French regional and national press: unfortunate expressions, misprints, blunders and unintentional witticisms. The headlines and sentences collected show the comic side of journalistic language; the author himself assures that everything is true.
The work was published in 1996. There are paperback editions under the Pocket imprint.
For readers with a sense of humour who enjoy linguistic slips and curiosities from the press.
