«Le Soir Du Grand Match» is a children's adventure story by Hubert Ben Kemoun, published by Nathan in paperback (43 pages, in French).
Matthieu, Samuel and Éric are watching the World Cup final when a neighbour, Mademoiselle Magne, calls for help from the roof: she went out to look for her cat and got trapped. Matthieu leaves the match and goes up to help her; the woman is about to fall into the void, but the emergency services, absorbed in the broadcast, do not hear her cries.
The work belongs to the Demi-Lune collection and was originally published in 1998.
Due to its short length and football theme, this work is suitable for children aged 6 to 8 who are starting to read in French.
