Le mystère de la maison aux trois ormes

Synopsis of Le mystère de la maison aux trois ormes

Commissioner Forestier is called in an emergency by Yves de Montalabert, an aristocrat who fears for his life after receiving threatening letters. Upon arriving at his home in the Normandy countryside, the policeman discovers that the count has invited four people: a journalist, the wife of an industrialist, a doctor, and a general. That same evening, the count is brutally murdered in his office, even though the doors and windows were locked from the inside and all the guests have irrefutable alibis. Faced with this baffling locked-room mystery, Forestier takes charge of the investigation, unaware that this puzzle hides another even more incredible one.
