Le cri

Synopsis of Le cri

At the Gaustad psychiatric hospital in Oslo, a patient is found strangled in his cell with a silent scream frozen on his face. Inspector Sarah Geringën, sent to investigate, immediately senses that this case is unlike any other. As she uncovers baffling clues—a number carved into the victim's forehead and indecipherable drawings on the walls—she is drawn into a terrifying investigation that spans from London to the Ascension Island and beyond.

Teaming up with a French investigative journalist, Sarah races against time to uncover a dizzying truth about one of humanity's greatest mysteries: life after death. Buried within ultrasecret laboratories, the answer proves more unsettling than the question itself. Inspired by real events, 'Le Cri' is a gripping thriller about human madness and the dangers of science turned into a lethal weapon.
