Las manos de mi madre

Synopsis of Las manos de mi madre

«Las manos de mi madre» is the contemporary novel by Karmele Jaio Eiguren, published by Ttarttalo in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).

Nerea has a stressful job and little time for her family. Her mother's illness, hospitalised with deteriorating memory, unbalances her life; upon discovering an event from her mother's past, black-and-white images show her how unknown close people can be and how concerns repeat across generations.

It is part of the Abra collection (no. 45) from Ttarttalo. It is Karmele Jaio's first novel and the Spanish edition was translated from Basque by the author herself.

For adult readers of contemporary fiction interested in family bonds and memory.
