«Las botellas del señor Klein» is the novel by Óscar Caldavia, published by Lengua de Trapo in paperback (186 pages, in Spanish).
The novel interweaves marginal stories: an Eastern hitman from Lavapiés accused of prostituting seven tiny women, a wife pursued by thugs demanding her husband's debt, and a kidnapped man forced to watch a woman's body being tattooed. A stranger asks about Mr. Klein.
Published in 2008, it is part of the Nueva Biblioteca collection (no. 138). Winner of the Tigre Juan Prize 2009.
