La vida pública

Synopsis of La vida pública

«La vida pública: Els millors comentaris de la gent del carrer» is a collection of street comments by Enric Gomà i Ribas, in paperback, in Catalan.

The book brings together phrases, dialogues and signs heard or seen on the streets of Barcelona: from a taxi driver reflecting on his trade to a girl surprised by a phone booth. Enric Gomà selects them and turns them into a humorous portrait of everyday life and the city's popular speech.

For readers interested in Barcelona, observational humour and the portrayal of the everyday; text in Catalan.
