La verdad sospechosa es una obra de teatro del escritor mexicano Juan Ruiz de Alarcón, publicada en 1630. La obra narra la historia de Don García, un joven noble que tiene la costumbre de mentir constantemente, lo que le lleva a situaciones cómicas y a perder la confianza de quienes le rodean. La trama se centra en las consecuencias de sus mentiras y en cómo estas afectan sus relaciones personales y amorosas. Es una comedia de enredo que critica la falsedad y exalta la importancia de la verdad y la honestidad.
