Synopsis of La tortuga poruga i la seva amiga eruga

«La tortuga poruga i la seva amiga eruga» is the illustrated children's story by Carles Sala i Vila, published by Barcanova (paperback, 56 pages, in Catalan).

A tortoise so timid that she hid her head under her shell from a young age has never seen the daisies, the fish in the stream, or the sky at dusk. When she befriends a small green caterpillar, the caterpillar shows her the beauty of the forest and encourages her to overcome her shyness. Will she manage to convince her to poke her head out?

Part of the «Pluja de llibres +6» collection from Barcanova, with illustrations by Marta Montañá and recommended reading for ages 6 to 8.

For boys and girls aged 6 and up who are starting to read on their own and enjoy animal stories about friendship and overcoming fears.
