«La tira de años» is a collection of humorous cartoons by Peridis published by Espasa in hardback (360 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together 800 cartoons that Peridis published in El País between 1976 and 2016, turning them into a journey through four decades of Spain's recent history: the Transition, the Constitution, the coup d'état, the economic boom era, the crisis and the current misgovernment. Humour and irony are the lens for reviewing that period.
The volume measures 23.5 x 22.5 x 3 cm and weighs around 1.54 kg; it was published in Madrid on 22 November 2016.
For readers interested in Spain's recent history and in graphic humour and political satire.
