«La reina de los cielos» is a children's book by Jordi Sierra i Fabra, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (120 pages, in Spanish).
A baby eagle falls from the nest pushed by her sister and, still unable to fly, is found by a person who decides to help her. From that encounter, the bird grows up with a human family in an intense, difficult and at the same time tender coexistence, which shows the possible bonds between animals and people.
Published in Spanish in 2000, the work includes illustrations by Juan Ramón Alonso and is recommended for readers aged 8 and up.
It will appeal to young readers who enjoy stories about animals and tales of coexistence between humans and nature.
