«La ratita presumida» is a rhyming children's story by Ana María Romero Yebra, published by Ediciones SM in hardback (24 pages, in Spanish).
A very vain little mouse finds a coin and buys a blue bow. The pig and the donkey fall in love with her, but she rejects them; a flattering cat manages to deceive her and her vanity puts her in danger. The help of her friends allows her to escape, and the story, written in verse, leaves a moral about humility.
This book belongs to the Cuentos de ahora collection (number 56), is illustrated by Margarita Menéndez, and was published on 11 March 2009.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 5, with capital letters.
