«La intel·ligència intuïtiva.» is Malcolm Gladwell's essay on decision-making, published by Edicions 62 in paperback, in Catalan.
It examines why we decide in an instant, almost without thinking, and why some are right and others are wrong. The book argues that experts do not accumulate more information, but rather filter the few decisive factors. It includes a psychologist who predicts how long a marriage will last and antiques experts who detect forgeries at a glance.
Catalan edition published on 1 September 2005, translated by Joan Puntí Recasens, in the No Ficció collection.
For non-fiction readers interested in psychology, human behaviour and the mechanisms of decision-making.
