«La felicitat no és completa» is the novel by Vicenç Pagès Jordà, published in 2003 by Edicions 62 in hardback (224 pages, in Catalan).
Àngel Mauri doesn't know what he's missing: an unfinished graffito —«La felicitat no és completa. Fal...»— obsesses him. Seven episodes between 1971 and 2003 trace his formation through friendship, family, education, love, work, and politics, portraying with humor and tenderness a generation marked by the death of John F. Kennedy.
The novel, winner of the Premi Sant Joan 2003, belongs to the El Balancí collection (no. 481) from Edicions 62.
For readers of Catalan fiction interested in generational portraits and the social and cultural evolution of the seventies and eighties.
