«La Espada de Fuego» is the first epic fantasy novel by Javier Negrete, published by Minotauro in hardback (464 pages, in Spanish).
Zemal, the Sword of Fire, is the ultimate symbol of power and the greatest aspiration of every warrior. Only the Tahedoranes, the great sword masters, can compete for it. After the death of Hairón, the last Zemalnit, seven aspirants vie for the sword, but more than ambition for power is at stake, for strange forces have united to awaken Tubilok, the rebel god who sleeps fused in a rock in the abysses of the Prates and whose dreams become the nightmares of men. Derguín and Kratos May, the warriors, and Linar and Mikhon Tiq, the mages, must face chaos and destruction to overcome the betrayals and traps of Togul Barok, prince of Áinar, and win the Sword of Fire to safeguard the fragile balance of Tramórea.
First instalment of Minotauro's «Fantasía» collection, also identified as no. 01/03 of the «La Espada de Fuego» series.
