«José Martí» is the critical study and poetry anthology by Juan Marinello, published by Ediciones Júcar in paperback (227 pages, in Spanish).
The volume combines Juan Marinello's critical perspective on José Martí with an anthology of poems by the Cuban author. The work places Martí as an American writer and analyses his link with modernism, before giving way to a selection of his poetry.
Los Poetas collection, number 3. Second edition, published in Madrid in 1976. The anthology occupies pages 83-212 and the bibliography, pages 221-222.
For those seeking a critical approach to José Martí and an anthology of his poetry, with attention to Hispanic American modernism.
