«Jamais sans ma fille, tome 2» is Betty Mahmoody's memoir, published by Editions Fixot in paperback (364 pages, in French).
After escaping Iran with her daughter, Betty Mahmoody continues to live in fear and discovers she is not alone: she receives calls from mothers around the world whose children have been abducted by their own fathers. Alongside her own, she tells the stories of Christy, Mariann and Jessie, turning her experience into a plea against such injustices.
Second volume in Betty Mahmoody's 'Jamais sans ma fille' series, originally published as 'For the Love of a Child' and adapted into French by Marie-Thérèse Cuny.
A work aimed at readers of true-life testimonies and memoirs about survival and children's rights.

Betty Mahmoody is an American author and public speaker. In 1984, during a visit to Iran with her husband and daughter, he refused to let them return to the United States, holding them captive in Iran and subjecting them to constant abuse until she escaped with her daughter to Turkey in 1986. After she and her daughter returned to the US and after her divorce to Moody, she garnered media attention in 1987 when she published Not Without My Daughter, a memoir recounting her captivity in Iran. MGM-Pathé Communications adapted her memoir into a film in 1991.
