Historical novel centred on Isabella the Catholic and the three maidens born with her in April 1451. It recreates the coronation of Isabella and Ferdinand in Segovia, with the sentimental stories of the twins Juan and Leonor and the role of the sorceress Mari de Abando.

It is the second volume of the trilogy «Isabel, la Reina», sequel to «Las hijas de la luna roja», and was published in 2001.
