«Ipuin euskaldunak» is a book of short stories by Gerardo Markuleta and Iban Zaldua, published by Erein in 1999 in paperback (140 pages, in Basque).
Stories with a marked urban character and great variety, far from the spirit of traditional tales. The ironic play starts on the cover itself, with a very traditional pilgrimage image, and continues in stories that seek to be a sharp and unflattering reflection of the Basque soul, alternating irony with criticism.
It is part of the Narratiba collection, number 17, published by Erein Argitaletxea; this is the first edition.
For readers of contemporary Basque fiction who enjoy short stories and urban tales with irony.
