«Porvenir» is a collection of short stories by Iban Zaldua published by Lengua de Trapo in paperback (192 pages, in Spanish).
In these stories, everyday reality intersects with the fantastic and the speculative: there is an economic retelling of Sleeping Beauty, a policeman who consults a clairvoyant about a girl's future, and the title story, where mortals and immortals share the world.
Published in 2007, it is number 134 in the Nueva Biblioteca collection and won the Euskadi Prize for Literature 2006.
A work aimed at readers of contemporary short stories and fiction with fantastic elements.
