In 'Intrusion', Ken MacLeod presents us with a future where health enhancement technology is ubiquitous, but not without controversy. Set in a world where 'correction drugs' are mandatory to maintain employment and social acceptance, the novel explores the ethical and social implications of a society obsessed with perfection and control. Through complex characters and provocative situations, MacLeod raises disturbing questions about individual freedom, privacy, and the limits of technological intervention in human life.
