«Introduction to Special Relativity» is a physics textbook by Wolfgang Rindler, published by OUP Oxford in paperback (184 pages, in English).
Introduction to special relativity that starts from scratch: it explains its logic, subtleties and apparent paradoxes, and includes problems covering the basic ways of reasoning and calculating in the theory. The approach focuses on the geometric intuition of spacetime and on calculation methods with four-tensors, without forgetting three-dimensional ones.
Second edition (1991), published in the Oxford Science Publications series. Includes bibliography and index.
Intended for advanced undergraduate students and those beginning a postgraduate degree in physics.

Wolfgang Rindler was an Austrian physicist studying general relativity. He is known for introducing the term "event horizon" for the boundary of a black hole, Rindler coordinates, and for the use of spinors in general relativity. An honorary member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and foreign member of the Accademia delle Scienze di Torino, he was also a prolific textbook author.
