«Informes para Mertov» is the contemporary novel by Jorge Zentner, published by Anaya & Mario Muchnik in paperback (178 pages, in Spanish).
A woman arrives in Lisbon and writes the first report of her encounter with an enigmatic geographer. Another informant offers a first report that is similar but not identical; a man adds a third report that disagrees with both. The reports alternate and contradict each other, creating an atmosphere of mystery whose plot goes beyond the novel.
The work was published on 27 November 1991 in the Analectas collection, of Spanish and Latin American narrative.
For readers of contemporary Spanish-language narrative interested in fragmentary narrative structures and enigmas.
Jorge Zentner is an Argentine comic writer and the creator of the Dieter Lumpen character.
