«Il libraio di Selinunte» is the contemporary fiction novel by Roberto Vecchioni, published by Einaudi in paperback (68 pages, in Italian).
A mysterious bookseller arrives in town with trunks full of books and, instead of selling them, reads them aloud. Only a boy, hidden among the shelves, listens and discovers the stories of the great poets and novelists. A fable about the power of words and memory.
The edition includes a new preface by the author in the form of a short story and belongs to the Super ET collection. The cover reproduces Carl Spitzweg's oil painting Il topo di biblioteca (1850).
