This book is a tool to help for the correct use of Italian verbs in their moods and tenses. The authors have taken care of the presentation technique of the various verbal forms by using substitution tables or "boxes". The box, as it has been designed and implemented, not only allows to present all the forms of each verb in a linguistically significant situation, according to the indications of modern glottodidactics, but also offers the foreign student a number of collateral advantages such as: the focusing of irregular forms, the constant visualization of all moods and tenses and the reinforcement of the forms of regular conjugation. In addition, in consideration of the most frequent errors made in Italian by non-native speakers, the volume addresses in detail, through summary schemes, the following topics: use of the auxiliary in compound tenses, perfect/imperfect alternation, subjunctive mood, negative imperative, subjunctive dependent on the conditional and hypothetical period.
