«Hola! Fem una granja» is the interactive children's book by Rachel Williams, illustrated by Derek Matthews, published by Cruïlla in hardback (20 pages, in Catalan).
The book combines reading with play: it includes 36 cardboard pieces to build a farm with animals. Derek Matthews's illustrations recreate a colourful rural setting, with pigs, cows, horses, sheep and other animals, and the activity lets children build their own farm while becoming familiar with rural vocabulary.
This title in the «Hola!» series was published on 6 October 2010; the Catalan translation is by Núria Font i Ferré.
Recommended for children aged 3 to 5 who are starting to discover animals and enjoy hands-on play books.
