«História com Recadinho» is the children's story by Luísa Dacosta, published by Edições Asa in paperback, with 48 pages and text in Portuguese.
A little witch flees the gloomy kingdom of witches, a place of dry trees and bad omens, and arrives in the human world, drawn by its colour and scents. There she discovers that appearances deceive: among humans, too, there are shadows and prejudices. An illustrated tale about joy and tolerance.
It belongs to the collection «Obras Completas de Luísa Dacosta para a Infância». It is a reissue of a story originally published in 1986. Illustrations by Cristina Valadas.
Recommended by Portugal's Plano Nacional de Leitura for the 4th year, it is a title suitable for young readers and for working on tolerance in the classroom.
