«Guillermo el conquistador» is the children's story collection by Richmal Crompton, published by RBA Coleccionables in paperback (240 pages, in Spanish).
Guillermo is a boy whom adults rarely understand and who turns every day into a personal mission. The visit of a chimney sweep awakens his vocation, and the promise of a trip to the theatre leads him to try to behave. Misunderstandings and wild plans end up turning any situation into a new prank.
Sixth instalment of the series «Las aventuras de Guillermo» (Just William). Translated by Guillermo López Hipkiss; the original, «William the Conqueror», was published in 1926.
For young readers and for those seeking a classic of children's humour.
