«Galop d'essai» is the short story collection presented by Françoise Bourdin, published by Presses Pocket in paperback (160 pages, in French).
The horse is the common thread of these nouvelles: it appears as an impetuous thoroughbred, a child's imaginary friend, an Olympic athlete's companion, or a force comparable to a Ferrari. The stories, written by different authors, express their admiration for this animal; Françoise Bourdin signs the opening and closing stories.
Published in 2015 by Presses Pocket; the cover states «Françoise Bourdin présente» and the subtitle «Nouvelles».
Aimed at readers of French literature and those who enjoy horses and the short story.
