«Fragmentos de un libro futuro» is a poetry collection by José Ángel Valente, published by Galaxia Gutenberg in hardback (112 pages, in Spanish).
José Ángel Valente worked on this poetry collection until his final days: it brings together more than ninety poems and some short prose pieces. Conceived as a poetic diary with an elegiac tone, it addresses the end of life, nostalgia and the essence of writing, and has been read as the closing work of Valente's career.
Published in the Poesía collection in co-edition with Círculo de Lectores. The book was posthumously awarded the Premio Nacional de Poesía.
José Ángel Valente Docasar was a Spanish poet of the Generation of '50, an essayist, and a translator, who wrote in Spanish and Galician.
