The volume brings together «Fiesta en el jardín» and five other stories, including «Miss Brill», «La casa de las muñecas» and «Psicología». Mansfield depicts everyday scenes and seemingly trivial moments in which social tensions, contained emotions and small shifts in the characters' perception come to the surface.
The original collection, The Garden Party, was published in 1922; this Spanish edition is from 2007.
