«Fantasmas de luz» is the young adult novel by Agustín Fernández Paz, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in hardback (192 pages, in Spanish).
After 35 years in the projection booth of the Soñadores cinema, Damián is dismissed when the closure of the venue is announced. Soon he and his wife, Marga, become invisible to those around them, a reflection of social exclusion. Damián meets Rosa Parks, a network of invisible people fighting for a fairer and more inclusive world.
The illustrations are by Miguelanxo Prado and the novel was published in 2011 within Anaya's children's and young adult catalogue.
For young people aged 12 and over interested in fantastical stories with a social backdrop and a tribute to cinema.
