«Evangelii Gaudium (La alegría del Evangelio)» is the apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis, published by Ediciones Palabra in paperback.
Pope Francis presents this apostolic exhortation born from the Year of Faith and the Synod on evangelization in the modern world. With joy as its starting point, he invites the Church to a new missionary stage: a faith that transforms society, a Church close to the poor, and a renewed, social and spiritual proclamation of the Gospel.
The exhortation was published in November 2013 and belongs to the Documentos MC collection of Ediciones Palabra.
Work for readers of Catholic spirituality and theology, interested in the magisterium of Pope Francis and in current evangelization.
Pope Francis was head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Vatican City from 13 March 2013 until his death in 2025. He was the first Jesuit pope, the first Latin American, and the first pope born or raised outside Europe since the 8th-century Syrian pope Gregory III.
