«Etiòpia» is the children's story by Anna Canals with illustrations by Luci Gutiérrez, published by La Galera in paperback (32 pages, in Catalan).
Medina, an adopted girl who came from Ethiopia, is the centre of this story: her parents explain that they were waiting for her and how her family life began. The work, easy to read, helps adopted children talk naturally about their origins and is intended for adoptive parents or those in the process of adoption.
«Etiòpia» is the third title in the collection «Vaig arribar de...», with the subtitle «Explica'm la meva història». It was published on 27 January 2005.
Recommended for children aged 0 to 7 and for adoptive families or those in the process of adoption who want to explain origins to their children.
