«Ètica per al meu fill» is the philosophy essay by Fernando Savater, published by Editorial Ariel in paperback (207 pages, in Catalan).
«Ètica per al meu fill» is not an academic manual or a tour of the great moral systems: it is a personal reflection, written with closeness, that starts from the relationship between father and son. Savater invites the reader to think for themselves, to develop their own judgement and not to settle for received ideas about good and evil.
It is the Catalan version of «Ética para Amador», a work originally published in 1991. The work belongs to the Philosophy category.
Aimed at teenagers and readers seeking a first approach to ethics, with a personal and close focus.
Fernando Fernández-Savater Martín is a Spanish philosopher, essayist and author.
