«Et recorde, Amanda» is the young adult novel by Gemma Pasqual i Escrivà, published by Edicions Voramar, S.A. in paperback (152 pages, in Catalan).
Amanda lives in Gandia as a teenager focused on her studies, friendships, and her first love, Marc, without suspecting anything about her family's Chilean past. An unexpected visit reveals her mother's best-kept secret and connects the Chile of the dictatorship and the disappeared with her aunt's story; pulling that thread, Amanda will discover a parallel story that will change her life forever.
Novel winner of the 2003 Samaruc Prize for Young Adult Literature. The cover map places the action between the Valencian Country and Chile.
