«Et ça vous fait rire ?» is the humour comic by Hugleikur Dagsson, published by Pocket as a paperback (192 pages, in French).
A collection of black humour cartoons with schematic characters. Everyday scenes lead to absurd punchlines and taboos treated without restraint; uncomfortable situations and punchlines follow one another on every page. The simple drawing and direct style aim to provoke an uncomfortable, corrosive laugh.
French edition of Pocket's Bulles & blogs collection, with translation by Mona Claro and foreword by Fridrik Solnes. Original Icelandic work: «Forðist okkur» (2005).
For readers with a taste for black humour, uncomfortable satire and provocative cartoons, unafraid of taboos.
