In 1960s Barcelona, the lives of a high society woman, an advertising executive, a magnate, and a young man from the north intertwine in a story of feelings, personal search, journalism, and business intrigues. The novel portrays a historical moment in which Spain began to emerge from the post-war period to become a consumer society, animated by television promotions and elegant summer parties. Sergio Vila-Sanjuán confirms his narrative talent with this work, offering a vision of a country awakening.
