«És complicat» is the novel by Pasqual Alapont Ramon published by Bromera in paperback, with 128 pages, in Catalan.
David is seven years old and with his curious voice narrates his daily life between school and the homes of several uncles; he might even go to live with a relative in Canada. With tenderness he exposes his reality and draws the reader into discovering a hard truth to accept: he can no longer go home. It is the most ignored and dark side of gender-based violence.
It belongs to Bromera's Trànsit collection, as number 11. First edition published in July 2017; recommended reading from age 16.
Due to its treatment of gender-based violence, the novel is aimed at adult and young readers seeking committed contemporary fiction.
