«Eón» is the young adult science fiction novel by Miquel Rayó, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in paperback (72 pages, in Spanish).
The story revolves around a son who keeps on his shelf the last novel his father bought before dying: «Eón», by Greg Bear, a book that remained unread. For twenty years he looks at it without daring to open it, gripped by superstition or cowardice, since it was his father who passed on to him a love of reading.
Volume 11 of the Libros Para Jóvenes - Espacio De La Lectura collection, with illustrations by Xosé Cobas.
For ages 14 and up, a brief science fiction story about the bond between a son and the memory of his reading father.
